I already scanned the newspaper. Unfortunately, stitching via double row did not work. I wanted to then stitch via single row. Could not do it. Program wanted me to rescan! How can I pull up my original scans?

To answer your question, ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe may require you to rescan the document for several reasons, such as incorrect alignment, insufficient overlap, or incompatible file formats from previous scans. To try accessing your original scans instead of rescanning:
Check the default save location on your computer where scanned images are stored. Often, scanned files are saved in a folder like "Documents" or "Pictures."
Open the ArcSoft software and navigate to the "File" menu. Look for an option like "Open" or "Import" to locate previously scanned documents.
If your scans were saved as files, you should be able to locate them via the Windows File Explorer. Use the search bar to find files with the typical formats used by the scanner, such as JPEG, PDF, or TIFF.
By accessing your previously saved scans, you should be able to reload them into the software and attempt the stitching process again without needing to rescan.
Scan-n-Stich came with my Epsom scanner. Afraid my HP is going to die soon and it's the only thing I have left on it. Tried to scan-stitch something but says there isn't enough memory. Never had that happen before. There's not much else on the computer and should have toom.

To transfer the ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe software to your Dell computer, follow these steps:
Check the Licensing Agreement: Ensure that the software license allows for installation on more than one computer. Since it came bundled with your Epson scanner, there might be specific restrictions.
Locate Installation Media: If you have the installation CD or a download link provided by Epson, use that to install the software on your Dell computer.
Contact Epson/ArcSoft Support: Reach out to Epson or ArcSoft's customer support. Explain your situation, and they might provide you with a software key or a method to transfer the license to your new computer.
Backup Preferences and Settings: Before your HP dies, if possible, back up any preferences or settings from the software that you might want to retain.
Consider Alternative Software: If you cannot transfer the software, there are other programs available that offer similar functionalities. You may want to explore those options as well.
Regarding your issue with not having enough memory, consider checking your computer for unnecessary programs or files that might be using up memory, closing unused applications, or increasing virtual memory in the system settings.
Will this work on a Mac and windows XP? I have a version from 2005 that I love, but I wish to use it on Mac as well as Windows XP.

I can't find any information regarding ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe on its official website, so my best guess is that the application has been discontinued. From what I can see, the tool is compatible with Windows XP, but there's no official Mac version available. However, if you still have the application's installer, you can use a tool like Wine Bottler or Boot Camp to install it on your Mac as well.
I don't think that Scan-n-Stitch will be available anymore. The software appears to be discontinued. There was a page dedicated to Scan-n-Stitch , but when you click on the download link it takes you to the ArcSoft website. I've also used other websites with hope to find the application, and the results were the same: no download or updated version of ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch.
It's not mentioned exactly what are the supported devices that can operate with ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch, although I've seen on Google search devices like V39, V33, V550, V370. Also, in the features section of a few online stores, the software is listed as being compatible with scanners, more exactly: "Flatbed scanner support -- all types".
Therefore, as long as your device has is considered a flatbed scanner and it's installed properly, the software will work normally without error.
Take in consideration that ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch is an old application that might not support newer versions of Windows.
